Hi, my name is Eden Olena.
Thanks for visiting my site! Feel free to take a look around!
As a writer who enjoys exploring the ins and outs of technical jargon, nothing gives me more satisfaction than helping people understand something they wouldn't have before. I enjoy delving into new software, learning coding languages, and reading about a variety of topics. When I'm not writing, editing, or nerding out over a newly delivered PHP and MySQL book, I enjoy playing guitar, CrossFitting, and hanging out with my dog, Daisy.
TransUnion is committed to delivering quality information and risk solutions to its customers, both in the United States and globally. My contribution to TransUnion's mission involves solving documentation problems and sharing knowledge to spread Information for Good. I say what I need to say, innovate and inspire coworkers and customers, and act decisively to get things done.
Abilities First is the Greene County Resource Board for People with Developmental Disabilities. As a writer there, I have developed content for various procedural manuals. I helped promote Abilities First and one of its affiliate organizations, Art Inspired, through various marketing platforms including the Art Inspired website and the Springfield Business Journal. I also edited and revised technical documents for both publication and internal use at Abilities First.
As an editor, I work with students to edit doctoral-level papers and dissertations. Here, I have to maintain consistent style throughout documents and focus on achieving active language, flow, and cohesion in writing.
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant at MSU, I provided instruction for Composition and Academic Writing courses, created and presented instructional materials for colleagues and students, and tutored students and faculty in writing at the University Center for Learning and Writing.
In the Biblical Languages program, I focused my studies on biblical Hebrew and Koine Greek. I also completed a concentration in French, which included studying abroad in France and Belgium.
The following thumbnails show some work I've accomplished. I've included several tutorial videos made using Adobe Captivate, Help documentation made using Adobe RoboHelp, and other bits and bobs I've completed over the years. For full samples, please email me using the Contact form.
