As a writer who enjoys exploring the ins and outs of technical jargon, nothing gives me more satisfaction than helping people understand something they wouldn't have before. I enjoy delving into new software, learning coding languages, and reading about a variety of topics. When I'm not writing, editing, or nerding out over a newly delivered PHP and MySQL book, I enjoy playing guitar, CrossFitting, and hanging out with my dog, Daisy.

Abilities First is the Greene County Resource Board for People with Developmental Disabilities. As a writer there, I have developed content for various procedural manuals. I helped promote Abilities First and one of its affiliate organizations, Art Inspired, through various marketing platforms including the Art Inspired website and the Springfield Business Journal. I also edited and revised technical documents for both publication and internal use at Abilities First.
As an editor, I work with students to edit doctoral-level papers and dissertations. Here, I have to maintain consistent style throughout documents and focus on achieving active language, flow, and cohesion in writing.
